Job Title: Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer
Key Responsibilites:
- Develop embedded software for real-time data processing
- Responsible for research, design, development, testing, and
implementation of embedded sofware systems
- Analyze software developments to determine feasibility of design
- Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between
hardware software and operational preformance
- Preform coding and unit test of resultant software/firmware
- Prepares documenation for all software system research, design,
development, testing, and implementation of software/firmware
- Carry out all tasks at the highest level of quality
Qualifications:
- Requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical
Engineering
- Knoweldge of the following skills: C, C++, General Purpose
Processor (GPP), real-time operating systems, COMSEC, CORBA,
Windows NT, XP, 2000, and/or Unix host environments
- Experience with flash file systems and XML
- Implement software tools for groundtruth generation & training
sample creation for language specific OCR engines using C++ & MFC;
Document code & algorithms using Doxygen. Knowledge of WinCE & Symbian
platform
- Six months’ experience in image processing & computer
vision algorithm design & implementation
- Knowledge of Symbian OS platofrm
- Knowledge of WinCE
- Familiarity with software engineering project life cycles
